Most new traders start on the names everyone already knows. Apple. Tesla. The S&P names.

Here's the problem. On those stocks, you're trading against algorithms and size that never show you their hand. The Level 2 window is mostly noise.

Small-cap, low-float stocks are different. When a big order sits on the bid or offer, you can actually see it. The tape tells you something. That's real edge, not a hunch.

That's the whole premise of hyper-scalping. Read the order flow on stocks thin enough that one player moves the price, then trade with that information instead of against it.

Everybody wants to talk about Andy's $600,000 year. Nobody wants to talk about the two years before it.

If you're red more than you're green right now, there's a decent chance it's not your strategy. It's your sizing.

The rule I use: front side, first move up, small size. You don't know yet if it's real. The second leg, once the move holds and confirms, that's where you get aggressive.

Most traders do the opposite. They go big on the first move because it feels exciting, then they're already tapped out or spooked by the time the real move happens.

This isn't the whole system. It's one rule out of the sizing and order-flow framework I use every day. Sunday I'm putting it next to live charts so you can see it happen in real time instead of hearing me describe it.
